Stanac Tablet SR is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Taking aceclofenac with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding.
Stanac Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Stanac Tablet SR may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Stanac Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stanac Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Stanac Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Use of Stanac Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.
