Stoma Care Mouth Paint is a combination of two medicines: Beclometasone and Clotrimazole which treat mouth infections. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make mucosa (inner surface of cheeks and lips) red and swollen. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi in the mouth and treats your infection.

Stoma Care Mouth Paint may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Stoma Care Mouth Paint is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
