Otease Ear Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. You can help the medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.It is generally well-tolerated with little or no side effects. However, it may cause irritation, itching, and burning sensation immediately following application. These side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration.Although medicines used on the ear are not normally affected by other medicines, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicine to be safe. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask the advice of your doctor before using the medicine.

Otease Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine and Phenazone. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases pain sensation. Phenazone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
