Do not start treatment with Amfy V Vaginal gel during your periods as the cream will be washed off with blood flow. In such a case, consult your doctor who can prescribe you oral antifungals. Also, do not use tampons, spermicide or other vaginal products while using Amfy V Vaginal gel.
Amfy V Vaginal gel does not affect sex life. However, do not have vaginal intercourse as long as you are using this medicine. Also, barrier contraceptives (condoms, diaphragms) may get damaged if it comes in contact with Amfy V Vaginal gel and may fail to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
Symptoms of vaginal infection generally reduce within 2 to 4 weeks after use of Amfy V Vaginal gel. However, it is advisable to continue using it until the symptoms disappear or as long as prescribed by your doctor to avoid recurrence of the infection.
Amfy V Vaginal gel can be used again if the fungal infection returns after 7 days. However, if the infection recurs more than twice within six months, you should consult your doctor.
