Flucreme NM Ointment may be used in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Applying it at the same time every day will help you remember to use it. The affected area should be clean and dry before application of the medicine. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop using this medicine too early, the fungus may continue to grow and the infection may return or worsen.Use of this medicine may lead to a few common side effects like itching, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and cover the treated areas with clothing or use a sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Drink plenty of water and use moisturizer as it may lead to dryness of mouth, lips, and eyes. It is advised, not to have any cosmetic procedures during the treatment. You must inform your doctor if there’s no improvement even after four weeks of treatment. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it.

Flucreme NM Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Fluocinolone acetonide, Miconazole and Neomycin. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin antibiotic which stops bacterial growth on skin. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.
