How to use Cresar H Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cresar H Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Medicine Works

Cresar H Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide which lowers the blood pressure effectively. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood v

Related Warnings

Taking Hydrochlorothiazide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Cresar H Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Cresar H Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Cresar H Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Cresar H Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cresar H Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Cresar H Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
