Moxflora Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Moxflora Capsule is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Moxflora Capsule can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Moxflora Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Moxflora Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
