Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ranial 300 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Ranial 300 mg Tablet is a H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.
Related Warnings
Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Ranial 300 mg Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.
Ranial 300 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Ranial 300 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Ranial 300 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Ranial 300 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ranial 300 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
