Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. RAUF-E 500MG/250MG TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food, if it causes stomach upset.
RAUF-E 500MG/250MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots and controls excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic. It works by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots. It also helps control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).
