It is best to take Eptus-T 20 Tablet in the morning along with food in order to avoid frequent urination at night time. For better results, it is suggested to take it at the same time every day. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.Dehydration and constipation are some common side effects of this medicine. It may also cause dizziness, fatigue, diarrhea, abdominal pain, coughing, and influenza-like symptoms. Your doctor may advice regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes during treatment with this medicine.It is generally safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease. This medicine is a combination of eplerenone and torasemide. They act on different parts of your kidney to remove extra water and certain electrolytes while maintaining the potassium balance in your body. Elimination of extra fluid leads to reduction in blood volume causing drop in elevated blood pressure. It then enables heart to pump more efficiently.
