Kerala Ayurveda Punarnavasavam is a herbal medicine formulated for the health of the kidneys and urinary tract. It may also help manage urinary tract infections (UTI), manage retention of fluid, and other urogenital infections.

• Natural diuretic: This herbal tonic is a fermented blend of natural diuretics, such as punarnava and gokshura, which help manage fluid retention in the body

• Enhances kidney function: It contains herbs like kantakari and punarnava that support the renal system and revitalise the kidneys for optimum function

• Reduces swelling and oedema: It supports the kidney function to get rid of excess fluid from the body, reduce swelling around the eyes, and relieve oedema

• Regulates the urine flow: It helps clean the urinary tract and manage symptoms of dysuria. This herbal renal tonic also ensures normal urine flow

• Eliminates accumulated toxins: It helps eliminate toxins that may have accumulated in the blood. It also regulates blood urea, uric acid, and creatine levels and maintains a healthy electronic balance

• Adults: 2-3 teaspoons (15-25 ml) twice daily after a meal

• Children: 1-2 teaspoons (5-15 ml) twice daily after a meal or as directed by the healthcare professional

• Individuals prone to acidity should take asavam with ½ teaspoon ghee and avoid it at night
