Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. CP Tablet is to be taken with food.
CP Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Chloroquine and Primaquine which treat malaria. They work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.

CP Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
CP Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Sometimes CP Tablet causes blurred eyesight or makes it difficult to focus your eyes which may affect your ability to drive.
CP Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of CP Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Regular monitoring of liver function tests may be advised while you are taking this medicine.
