Sucral D Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and sucralfate. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Sucralfate is is an ulcer medication which covers the damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it against acid or injury to facilitate healing.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Sucral D Suspension is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Sucral D Suspension may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
