Revac-B Injection is a combination of two vaccines: Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) and Aluminium Hydroxide which prevent Hepatitis B, and Thiomersal as the preservative. Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) vaccine helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but stimulates the body"s immune system to produce antibodies (proteins) to protect against any future infections. Aluminium Hydroxide is an adjuvant which enhances the effectiveness of Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) vaccine.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

It is not known whether Revac-B Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Revac-B Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Revac-B Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
