Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Betahistine and Domperidone which relieve symptoms of Ménièreâs disease. Betahistine is a histamine analog which works by improving blood flow in the inner ear. This lowers the build-up of fluid pressure in the inner ear. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
