Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Ranitidine. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving abdominal cramps and pain. Ranitidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Related Warnings
Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.
Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Reden Plus 10 mg/150 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
