K Mac Liquid is a combination of two medicines: Magnesium Citrate and Potassium Citrate which prevent kidney stones. It raises urine pH and prevents the formation, growth and aggregation of crystals in the kidneys, thereby preventing stones.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
K Mac Liquid is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
K Mac Liquid does not usually affect your ability to drive.
K Mac Liquid should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of K Mac Liquid may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of K Mac Liquid may not be advised in patients with severe kidney disease.
