Description of Zerostat V Device

Zerostat V Device is a transparent, non-static small volume chamber with a flow-gate valve. It maximizes lung deposition of the medication with minimal deposition in the mouth or throat.

Uses:
It is used as a spacer for asthama inhaler.

• Transparent non-static spacer with flow gate valve

• The Zerostat Spacer is a holding chamber into which the dose of the medication from inhaler is released for inhalation

• Zerostat v device is a spacer (sometimes also called holding chamber) is a device that hold the medication for a few seconds after it has been released from the MDI

• It overcome the need for synchronization between firing the aerosol and inhalation, this allows full benefit of the pMDI

• It slow downs the aerosol spray before it reaches the mouth, thus allowing the propellants to evaporate and larger particles to settle in the spacer, this leads to less deposition in the oropharynx and greater deposition in the lungs, this may reduce any systemic side effect that may occur

• Use:with cipla inhaler only

• Always store the device in the container provided

• Do not clean with boiling or hot water as this will damage your device

• Read the label carefully before use

• Keep out of the reach of children
