Meganor OZ 200 mg/500 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial & parasitic infections. It is used to treat gastrointestinal infections such as acute diarrhea or dysentery, gynecological infections, lung infections, and urinary infections.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Meganor OZ 200 mg/500 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Taking it empty stomach can cause stomach upset.
Meganor OZ 200 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Ornidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Meganor OZ 200 mg/500 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Meganor OZ 200 mg/500 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
