Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet is to be taken with food.
Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Rosuvastatin and Vitamin D3 which treat high cholesterol. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Rosuvastatin.

Taking alcohol with Rosuvastatin increases the chances of liver dysfunction.
Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Rosloy D 5mg/1000IU Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
