Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Progynova 1 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Progynova 1 mg Tablet is an estrogen (female sex hormone). In women who are undergoing or have attained menopause, it prevents symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings. It also prevents the bones from becoming porous and fragile (osteoporosis).

Progynova 1 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Progynova 1 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Progynova 1 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Progynova 1 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Progynova 1 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Use of Progynova 1 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients who previously had liver disease and the liver function tests are still not normal.
