Linokem 600 mg Infusion is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Linokem 600 mg Infusion is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Linokem 600 mg Infusion may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Linokem 600 mg Infusion is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Linokem 600 mg Infusion is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Linokem 600 mg Infusion should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Linokem 600 mg Infusion may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Linokem 600 mg Infusion in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
