Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Benidipine and metoprolol which lower blood pressure effectively. Benidipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients while on Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet. If you are affected in this way, your ability to drive may be impaired.
There is limited information available on the use of Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Benitowa Beta 4mg/25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
