Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Torvason-EZ Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Torvason-EZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while raising "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.

Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
Torvason-EZ Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Torvason-EZ Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Torvason-EZ Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Torvason-EZ Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Torvason-EZ Tablet is recommended.
Torvason-EZ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Torvason-EZ Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Torvason-EZ Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
