Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it in the morning right after getting up from the bed. Do not drink or eat anything atleast for 30 minutes after taking this medicine.
Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risedronate and Vitamin D3 which treat osteoporosis. Risedronate is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Vitamin D3 helps protect your bones, both by increasing calcium absorption and by supporting muscles needed to avoid falls.

Stoplos RD 3 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Stoplos RD 3 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Stoplos RD 3 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
