Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mox P 500 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Preferably to be taken just before food.
Mox P 500 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Mox P 500 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Mox P 500 Tablet can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Mox P 500 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Mox P 500 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
