Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC is used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of lungs (Pneumonia), skin & soft tissues.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Lidoford 600 mg Tablet FC in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
