Dandrid Lotion is a combination of four medicines: Menthol, Miconazole, Tinidazole and Zinc Sulfate which treat dandruff. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the scalp. Miconazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging their DNA. Zinc Sulfate is an antiseptic.
