Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it preferably in the morning.
Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and perindopril which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability.
Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Coversyl-AM 4/10 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment.

Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
