Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Doxylab Capsule is to be taken with food.
Preferably to be taken with a light meal and plenty of liquids.
Doxylab Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Doxycycline which treat respiratory tract infections. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Doxycycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Doxylab Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Doxylab Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Doxylab Capsule alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
Doxylab Capsule should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Doxylab Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
