Tazloc-40, also known as Telmisartan, is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by preventing the effect of angiotensin II, a chemical that constricts blood vessels, thereby relaxing them and enabling easier blood flow to lower blood pressure.

Specifically in the second and third trimesters, pregnancy is not safe. It can damage the growing fetus by aggravating kidneys or lungs.

Steer clear of driving if, after taking Tazloc-40, you feel lightheaded or dizzy.
Use carefully in kidney-problem sufferers. Periodic kidney performance checks are advised.
Not advised for those with very compromised liver function.
