Acupenem 1000 mg Injection is used in severe bacterial infections. It is used in infections of various body parts like skin and soft tissues, urinary tract, blood, brain and lungs (pneumonia).

Acupenem 1000 mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

It is not known whether Acupenem 1000 mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Acupenem 1000 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acupenem 1000 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Acupenem 1000 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Acupenem 1000 mg Injection is recommended.
