Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pacimol Active Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Pacimol Active Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
Pacimol Active Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Caffeine and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. Caffeine narrows the blood vessels in the brain to reduce headache. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Together, they relieve headache effectively.

Taking Caffeine+Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pacimol Active Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Pacimol Active Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Pacimol Active Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Pacimol Active Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pacimol Active Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, Pacimol Active Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

However, the use of Pacimol Active Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
