L-Cet Syrup is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

L-Cet Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
L-Cet Syrup is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
L-Cet Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or more prolonged use of L-Cet Syrup may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply
L-Cet Syrup may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
L-Cet Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of L-Cet Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of L-Cet Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
L-Cet Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of L-Cet Syrup is recommended.
