Usage of Ritecef 1000 mg Injection

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin & soft-tissue, ear, blood, genital and lungs (pneumonia).

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection is safe to use during pregnancy.
Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ritecef 1000 mg Injection is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

Ritecef 1000 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ritecef 1000 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
