Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Polostan-SR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Polostan-SR Tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions.

Polostan-SR Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Polostan-SR Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Polostan-SR Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Polostan-SR Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Polostan-SR Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
