Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET is to be taken with food.
CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Cilnidipine and chlorthalidone which lower blood pressure effectively. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker which relaxes blood vessels and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Taking Chlorthalidone with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
No information is available on the use of CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of CILNIKEM CT 10MG/6.25MG TABLET is not recommended in these patients.
