Take it with food, if it causes stomach upset
Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and Pregabalin which treat neuropathic pain. Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, which causes diabetic nerve disease. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
