Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lovolkem OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Taking it empty stomach can cause stomach upset.
Lovolkem OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Levofloxacin and Ornidazole. Levofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Ornidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Lovolkem OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Lovolkem OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
