Usage of Wypal Syrup

Wypal Syrup is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used to treat bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, infections of urinary tract, ear and intestines.

How to use Wypal Syrup

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Wypal Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food, if it causes stomach upset.

How Medicine Works

Wypal Syrup is a combination of two antibiotics: Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. These antibiotics work by preventing the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Taking trimethoprim with alcohol may cause unpleasant side effects such as tingly feeling, nausea, and vomiting, fast heartbeats, warmth or redness under your skin, .

Wypal Syrup is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Wypal Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
There may be a possibility of skin rash in the baby.
