This medicine should be used only inside the mouth. Take a small amount of Fitgel Mouth Gel over a cotton swab and apply a uniform, thin layer of Fitgel Mouth Gel over the affected area. Avoid rubbing the area as it may irritate the ulcers.
No, you should not swallow Fitgel Mouth Gel. Just apply a thin layer of Fitgel Mouth Gel over the affected area in the mouth with a cotton swab.
You can see an improvement in your ulcers within 7 days. However, your doctor will decide the exact dose and duration of your treatment depending on your condition. Follow your doctor’s instructions to get the maximum benefit of Fitgel Mouth Gel. Moreover, if you do not find a considerable improvement within the prescribed duration, consult your doctor. It is important to know if your symptoms have worsened with time then stop the medication immediately and consult your doctor.
It is advisable not to wear dentures while applying Fitgel Mouth Gel. You can apply the medicine onto the sore area, and leave at least 30 minutes before reinserting the dentures.
Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps) which can make the pain and sting worse.
Along with using Fitgel Mouth Gel use a soft toothbrush, avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying this medicine, avoid putting dentures or braces back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth and stop smoking completely.

Some of the factors include biting the inside of your mouth; food sensitivities to acidic foods like strawberries, oranges, pineapples; lack of essential vitamins, especially B-12, zinc, folate, and iron; dental braces; using a toothbrush with hard bristles and certain medications.
