Saftoin 100 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by killing the bacteria in the urine that causes infection.

Saftoin 100 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Saftoin 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Saftoin 100 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Saftoin 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Saftoin 100 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Saftoin 100 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, who are unable to pass urine or have high creatinine levels.
Saftoin 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Saftoin 100 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Saftoin 100 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
