If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean.Common side effects include dry skin, skin irritation, itching, burning sensation, stinging sensation, redness of skin, and rash at the site of application. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Avoid direct contact of the cream or ointment with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention.Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. In psoriasis, there is excessive growth of skin cells which do not fall off and appear as scaly patches. Due to this your skin develops raised red and silver colored scaly patches. Heximar Ointment works by reducing the excess amount of cells your skin makes.
Heximar Ointment may start showing improvement after about 2 weeks of starting the treatment but this may vary from person to person. You may observe significant improvement in signs and symptoms after about 8 weeks of treatment but full clearing is achieved in very few patients. Discuss with your doctor if you are not sure.
