Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Toflox 200 mg Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Toflox 200 mg Syrup is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Toflox 200 mg Syrup is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Toflox 200 mg Syrup may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
