Verilac 25000 IU Injection is an anticoagulant. It works by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it prevents them from growing larger and causing blockages in the blood vessels.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Verilac 25000 IU Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Verilac 25000 IU Injection is released in small amounts in the breast milk and amounts reaching the baby are also small, which would not be expected to cause any harmful effects to the baby.
Verilac 25000 IU Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Verilac 25000 IU Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Verilac 25000 IU Injection is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
