Starflu 75 mg Capsule is used in the treatment and prevention of influenza (flu). It is also used in the treatment of H1N1 influenza (Swine flu). It would be advised by your doctor when you have symptoms of influenza (flu) or if there is influenza virus outbreak in your community.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Starflu 75 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Starflu 75 mg Capsule is a neuraminidase inhibitor. It stops the spread of influenza (flu) virus in the body and helps in fast relief from influenza (flu) symptoms like a stuffy or a runny nose, sore throat, cough, muscle or joint aches, tiredness, headache, fever, and chills.

Starflu 75 mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Starflu 75 mg Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Starflu 75 mg Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Starflu 75 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Starflu 75 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Limited information is available on use of Starflu 75 mg Capsule in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
