Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ambulax ET HD Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take this medicine before food.
Ambulax ET HD Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Hydrochlorothiazide. Propranolol is a beta blocker. It works by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Taking Hydrochlorothiazide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Ambulax ET HD Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Ambulax ET HD Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Ambulax ET HD Tablet may cause visual disturbances, hallucinations, fatigue, mental confusion, dizziness or tiredness. This may affect your driving ability.
Ambulax ET HD Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ambulax ET HD Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Ambulax ET HD Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
