Description of Ginlac-V Vaginal Tablet

Ginlac-V Vaginal Tablet is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.Ginlac-V Vaginal Tablet may lead to a few common side effects like mild irritation and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. In case of any allergic reactions (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), it is advised to call for immediate medical help.Before using it, tell your doctor if you have an underlying disease or are taking medicines for any health condition. The medicines that are used externally usually do not get affected by other medicines, however, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any medicines to ensure safety. How to use Ginlac-V Vaginal Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie on your back and gently insert the tablet into the vagina as mentioned in the label. It is best to use it just before bedtime.

How Medicine Works

Ginlac-V Vaginal Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole, Lactobacillus and Tinidazole. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stop the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which maintains the vagina in a healthy condition by producing anti-infectious substances. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
