Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Meth 2.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Meth 2.5 mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant. In rheumatoid arthritis, it works by decreasing the activity of body"s immune system. This decreases swelling, reduces pain and stiffness, and improves function. In psoriasis, it works by slowing down the rapid growth of skin cells.

Taking Methotrxate with alcohol increases the risk of liver damage.
Meth 2.5 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Meth 2.5 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
Meth 2.5 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Meth 2.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Meth 2.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.

Use of Meth 2.5 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
