Description of Fruselac DS Tablet

It is best to take Fruselac DS Tablet in the morning along with food in order to avoid frequent urination at night time. For better results, it is suggested to take it at the same time every day. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.Common side effects of this medicine include dehydration, dryness of mouth, thirst, weakness, lethargy, muscle pains, and low blood pressure. It might lower down the level of calcium, sodium and magnesium in the blood. Hence, regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine. It might cause dizziness or tiredness if happens rise slowly from sitting position or avoid driving.It is generally safe to use during breastfeeding. How to use Fruselac DS Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fruselac DS Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Medicine Works

Fruselac DS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also reduces blood pressure and enables heart to pump efficiently. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium, thereby balancing its levels in the body.
